After being shot 6 times in 2013, Co The Pirate was called to purpose. While on a trip with a fellow artist, which he expressed in his song “Live To See It” featuring JADaGr8, CoCaine or Co The Pirate lost his friend and at the same time almost lost his own life. “Doctor told me I was blessed, almost lost my chance to walk, them 6 shots made it hard for me to talk”
Directly after the incident CoCaine found himself in Atlanta, arguably one of the best places for artists to amplify their talents, outside of Los Angeles and New York City. From ATL the determined artist finally makes his way to Houston and with his hunger at an all time high and his foundation set, he kicks starts his label, Pirate Life Entertainment.
Since the shooting Co The Pirate has not let anything stop him. “I’m here to conquer, I’m not from her so I’m coming for everything”. He has dropped several projects including “Mermaid” adn “Life Of A Pirate”, he is currently working on “Mermaid 2”. In addition to full length projects, he’s dropped many singles including “Iffy” and “How You Feeling”.
“How You Feeling” has almost 20 thousand streams since it’s release in August of this year.
