LOS ANGELES, CA – Michael Prince has made his mark on the music industry with such skill and ease. In leading a legacy of his own, he has adopted that same stage name to reflect this. Legacy has been involved in music since his adolescent years, when his father played in a gospel group. Being surrounded by music inspired Legacy, which was no surprise when he started picking up instruments. It wasn’t before long that the self-taught artist taking his musical dreams further, and began dabbling into audio software.
What’s so respectable about Legacy is how dedicated he is in mastering his craft. Drive isn’t something that you can just pick up and run with. For Legacy, it’s something he was born with, which is reflected in his artistry. “Once ProTools came out, things really took off. I knew how to do everything I was doing at the time. It got to the point where people thought I went to school for my sound because it was that good,” said Legacy. In developing his artistic abilities and persona, Legacy realized he had a story to tell with everything he has been through over the years. He knew he could make things bigger than what they were at the time. Thus, his own label was formed.
Making waves in the industry and spreading his influence is something Legacy is known for. His latest single “Brand New Everything” is a true testament to this. “I’m focused on making a lot of moves in how I can separate my music from everything else right now. My single is out right now, and it’s bringing in good numbers. Everything is going pretty well, I have to say,” said the artist. Through preparing for his upcoming release of his EP “Shock the World”, he is also gearing up to go on tour. When it comes to success, through music or through anything else, Legacy will reach for the stars, no matter how far they may seem at the time.
Legacy’s distinctive voice and overall vibe can be described as “off set”. His ability to turn pennies into millions is impressive, further motivating other up and coming artists to adopt this viewpoint and lifestyle. Legacy has major projects in the works, and is excited to begin shooting his music video at the end of the month. Aside from music, he has such a big heart, and believes in giving back to those in need. In fact, the artist does a lot of community service with his local Boys and Girls Club. Legacy is eternally grateful for where he is in his career at the moment, and leaves off with this: “If it wasn’t for OJ JuiceMan, none of this would be possible”.
