When asked how long he has been involved in the music industry, he refers to the time in his life when he belonged to performance group, Manifest Destiny. As a member of Manifest Destiny, Ceez traveled the world and shared his musical talent with show goers, which further sparked his love for music.
Ceez is no stranger to overcoming life’s obstacles, as he has faced a few of his own throughout life. After experiencing a traumatic motorcycle accident, the artist found himself back at square one, as he had to teach himself basic motor skills. After making the decision to become a solo artist, things only went up for Ceez. “It was a whole rebirth for me,” said the artist. “I went from being a group emcee to being my own.” Ceez kept himself busy in and out of studio sessions, ensuring that he was making the best music possible. In terms of navigating through the new dynamic as his own boss, Ceez describes it best. “Being a solo artist is probably easier, because you only have to take your opinion in consideration,” said Ceez. “Both solo artists and groups are cool.
