Jonathan Christan Johnson, popularly known to his fans by Jon Rise, is a man of many talents. In 2019 he executive produced and appeared in a documentary, “The Pursuit Of Greatness”, a film by Asri Bacnacha. This film depicts the struggles of an up and coming artist, Jon, who is eager to increase his musical visibility.
This documentary features Hip Hop icons including radio host, Big Boy of Big Boy’s neighborhood, Matt Alozno, Damma Farmer and more. This inspiring piece of art was awarded the “Best Documentary” award in the Hip Hop Festival.
Jon Rise is set to drop an EP this year, which will include many surprises. The first song he dropped from the project features, Dreamchasers artist, Vory, called “Sacred Eye”.
