Big Lou and City Pimp are the “HIGH DOLLA BOYZ” . Big Lou and City Pimp teamed up as a group in 2009 while doing shows and promoting their music throughout the U.S. They have known each other for over 10 years and have had musical collaborations in the past. Although both are strong solo Artists, their past and strong friendship made them realize that their combination brings them to a new level.
The High Dolla Boyz have constantly been in the studio banging out hits, recording their debut album “The 9th World.” They are on a pace to bring the music Industry a fresh change. Big Lou and City Pimp are artists who bring lyrical heat, vocal recognition and most important originality, which sets them apart from all other rappers.
Back in 2010 The High Dolla Boyz recorded a single “Zone Out” with multi-platinum producer and recording artist from the West Coast, Daz Dillinger, which received very positive feedback and notable radio airplay. They have radio friendly releases to make sure that they stay current and to make their mark in the mainstream music scene.
The High Dolla Boyz perform locally to remain faithful and true to their roots, but they have also been concert headliners and openers for stars such as Yo Gotti, Young Buck, Lil Flip (Girls gone Wild), Juvenile, Twista, Slim Thug Bubba Sparks and the list goes on! The group also took part and performed at the 2011 MLK Day Parade in Texas. Their current single “Gettin’ Money” is out on all streaming platforms and they have a new album slated for 2021.
