LOS ANGELES, CA – Augusta has brought fourth one of the most influential rising hip-hop stars of this generation. Brandon “Truez” Truesdale promises that anyone who hears his music will instantly realize that he is the real deal. Because he is focused on being so open and honest through the lyrics in his music, he adopted the stage name “Truez”. What motivated him to pursue his own career in music was listening to artists like 50 Cent, especially when he began to create his own lyrics. From here, he mapped out the whole outline of his future in music, and followed the musical path that was intended for him.
Pretty soon, the artist started performing his own songs that he wrote himself. He would pass the music CD’s around at school, which Truez took a wealth of pride in. “Things began to transform so rapidly. It all quickly transitioned as social media grew, and became a cornerstone for musicians. You know, my mind makes me different. It’s the greatest gift God ever gave to me,” said Truez. The artist truly believes in adopting a “vision over sight” methodology when moving forward in his career. The vision ahead is crucial to his artistry, and his desire to be the greatest version of himself is what keeps him pushing forward.
His new hot single “I’m On” was released in January, and has been keeping the streets on fire. He puts it into his own perspective best. “It was something different that I did. I took 808 beats and made a melodic hook. Everyone gravitates toward melody. Also, the whole thing is metaphorical, with a lot of play on words. I wanted to display skills with new first album. I just wanted to come out in a certain type of way,” said Truez. When it comes to the overall feedback, the fans are loving everything Truez is bringing to the table. He continues to set the bar musically and visually, and everyone is gravitating toward it naturally.
With his first ever album on the way this spring, Truez promises his fans to expect amazing lyrical content. The album was written and recorded in two weeks, which is impressive enough. According to Truez, this album is something to listen to when you want to genuinely feel great from start to finish. Aside from everything else, he wants to be a positive figure for people to look up to in Augusta. Such as, when he led a high school after school program, where the students would write poetry and talk about life. The program was a huge testament to his investment as the students’ test scores boosted 48% for math and for language 37%. With the album quickly on the way, and a tour put together by 360 Entertainment Group, there’s nothing than can stop Truez in his tracks.
