LOS ANGELES, CA – Bay Area hip-hop artist Bo Blitz has been fascinated with music ever since his adolescent years. After hanging around his older brother, he admired the lifestyle of performing at talent shows, parties and other events in his community. The way in which his brother rapped completely wowed Bo Blitz, and he knew he had to tap into his own talent. Once his senior year of high school rolled around, the artist buckled down, and has been full speed ahead in his career ever since.
When he first started out, Bo Blitz often found himself writing rap lyrics to popular beats. “I wanted to give it my all and commit one hundred percent to my goals. I always knew I had it in me. So, for my senior year project, I recorded a full-blown CD with my own beats. When I received a really good grade on it, it motivated me to pursue my dreams even further,” said the rapper. What makes Bo Blitz different than your average artist from the industry is the way in which he expresses himself. He always incorporates a feel-good, upbeat vibe, and channels the “party” side of himself.
Ever since he released his hit single, “Girl of My Dreams”, he’s discovered how easily his fans can relate to him. This seems to work for him, in terms of growing his fan base, as he sees the depth of which they crave a genuine, relatable music experience. “The single is a good balance of the reality and fantasy aspects of a relationship. It was an experiment for me, and turned out just how I wanted. It’s an all around good song,” said Bo Blitz. “Girl of My Dreams” comes straight off his upcoming EP called “Spooky Action at a Distance”, which will be released at the end of the month. In terms of what fans can expect, the artist puts it best in his own words. “With the EP, people can definitely expect what they’re used to, but presented in a different way. I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel. I’m just putting really nice rims on it,” said the rapper.
Up next, Bo Blitz is taking his talents all over the country! He’ll be making stops in major U.S. cities such as Miami, Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta, as he brings his new music to his fans that are dying to hear it. “I have an appeal to many. My stage presence makes it very easy to enjoy my material. Being in the moment and feeling the energy from the crowd elevates me to new heights. It’s an amazing feeling,” said the artist.
