Minnesota based Chicago bred rhyme slinger SickDaPunchLiner is one of the top rappers to watch in 2016. The incredibly gifted, multi-talented lyricist has honed a refreshing style that combines street tales with wisdom and food for thought. His cadence, delivery and flow are spectacular. SickDaPunchLiner’s music is dark, raw, intense and personal. However, he has songs that can rock a club as well. Part of what makes him so intriguing is that he continually strives to connect with the listener. There is an undercurrent of realness and authenticity in his voice.
Equally important, SickDaPunchLiner has teamed up with Chicago Rap Juggernaut King Louie on the high powered single IDKU. We haven’t heard much from national recording artist King Louie since he was shot multiple times in Chicago. In an undeniably explosive 12 bar verse, King Louie touches on the shooting where he spits the line “SHOT TO THE FACE SO DEF IS NO DOUBT.” This new single with SickDaPunchLiner is a clear indication that King Louie is coming back with a bang.
