C-Nice is an rapper/song writer out of Long Beach, CA whom recently has come into his own as an artist. More then just an artist he partnered up with Inland Empire recording artist Rosevelt in a huge attempt to unite, inspire and educate those involved in gaining prominence back on the West Coast music scene. Arguably one of the biggest conferences to hit the West Coast in years, the “Western Awareness Conference” took place at the LA Convention Center.
C-Nice’s love for hip-hop began in high school (2002) at the age of 15, when he joined a group called “UT Three Tha Hardway” and was soon signed to an independent label. The Group recorded their first & only album, Under Oath which was sold in Tower Records. 6 years later (2008) after concluding his athletic eligibility, C-Nice was eager to get back into music. His music quickly caught the attention of 93.5 K-DAY The Beat of LA radio station reps & as a result his song “Do For Me” ft. Ca’Laura (twin sister vocalist) was played on air & spread to many other radio stations as well.
In late ’09 C-Nice followed up the success of the record by releasing his highly anticipated mixtape “The Orientation.” co-hosted by DJ Hoodrat Miguel of 93.5KDAY & Diana Wehbe 99.1KGGI. The mixtape most notably known for its street declared hater anthem “Still I Remain,” featured the likes of West Coast artists Kendrick Lamar Glasses Malone, Jay Rock, Techniec, Junior, Eric Bellinger & more.
Since then C-Nice’s fan base demand began to rise while being on the radio every Saturday night at various times and other days periodically on the IE’s Hottest Music 99.1 KGGI for the intro songs he did ft. Ca’Laura for on air personality radio host Diana Wehbe.
In 2011 C-Nice released his first music video on MTV for “Still I Remain” which was a huge motivational record in terms of the new approach to dealing with tough times and haters. “Still I remain ” sparked the attention of other networks and websites worldwide .
Since then while proceeding with annual music conference (Western Awareness Conference ) C-Nice also Released Debut Album on Itunes Entitled Detour on in 2013 and has released videos “Park Ave” as well as “Way Out There”
